Christian Dior Cruise 2011 Collection in Shanghai

Recently Christian Dior also launched its Cruise 2011 Collection here, which coincided with the reopening of its boutique in the Plaza 66 shopping mall as well as the inauguration of a retrospective.

As everyone knows, Christian Dior mixed France’s elegance and refinement in to his creations as well as launched new trends and style that maintain the name and style. This Dior show is no exception. It was all about Parisian stylish, featuring pastels, florals, and ruffles paired with giant 1960s-inspired hair. As John Galliano said, he did not want to come and present Chinese-inspired collection, but desired to come here with a French-inspired collection.

This collection show has a lot of colors from candy-pink to leather black, marine blue, lollipop green, peachy orange, hot red as well as pure white. All of them look femininity and modern. In order to spice up this colorful show, Galliano brings rough and masculine materials which adds some professional feelings. The doll-like hairstyles with make-up is also a shining point of this show and presents John Galliano’s original & matchless point of view. Click here for more exciting about Dior.
